 The 2008 season is now well underway and things are looking bright! Firstly a massive congratulations to our very own Monty Panesar for destroying the Kiwis on his way to 100 test match wickets! He just keeps suprising everyone, first with his call up, then the mighty Sachins wicket and now 100 test wickets!! All the best and keep it up! we are all very proud!!
The First elevens have gained some momentum with 4 wins in a row! Hopefully we can continue the good work through all of our sides throughout the rest of the season!! We welcome some new players to Wardown park this year and wish everyone all the very best.
A big congratulations to Jeremy Page for setting the benchmark by being the first centurion of 2008 scoring a match winning 105* against Clifton. Time for everybody to 'fill there boots!' First team meet times have been brought forward this year to allow more time for match preparation and warm ups. Please be on time and good luck for the coming fixtures!
A Successful merger was accomplished in 2002 between Luton Town Cricket Club and Luton Indians Cricket Club . A new era has dawned upon the newly formed club which proudly presents members from all cultures resulting in a very powerful membership listing in both Adults and Colts leagues.The Club also recognises and relishes a new Social Environment which is enjoyed by all members within the Club.
